We are very proud to announce the opening of our newest property on Caye Caulker VeLento Oceanfront Rentals. Having already successfully built and operated 6 other properties on the island we have taken all we have learnt from those endeavors to now provide you with what we think are the best accommodations to be found on the island.

We have built 2 beautiful buildings set back 30 feet from the Caribbean Sea containing two separate units in each building. The top floor units have three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on two floors, the upstairs has two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and the third bedroom is downstairs on the main level with a bathroom that can either be en suite or accessed by additional guests using the futons in the living room without disturbing the occupants of the bedroom.

There is an open plan kitchen and family room with a dining area and breakfast bar and two sets of sliding glass doors that allow you to bring the Caribbean Sea into your home! Beyond the sliding glass doors is a wonderful over sized deck with seating for at least 8 people. Your million dollar views are included in the nightly rental rate!!!!

The whole unit has beautiful Belizean hardwood ceilings throughout. There is a TV in the living room and the kitchen is fully stocked with all you should need and yes there is a Blender!! The bathrooms are all stocked with plush bath and hand towels as well as wash cloths and beach towels. The beds all have 460 thread count sheets and the downstairs bedroom has a King bed in it while the two upstairs bedrooms have two single beds in each that can be set up as Kings upon request.

There is Air Conditioning in every room however the breeze from the ocean is more than sufficient to keep you cool so we ask that you open the doors and windows and keep our electric bills at a minimum so we can continue to offer you the best prices possible!

For your swimming needs we have built a large pool and deck that sits behind the buildings. Loungers with padded mattress' are plentiful and the pool is 5 feet deep. In addition we have put out a sea wall to add a beach like frontage from which extends a 250 foot long dock with a large swim and sunbathing platform at the end. Our previous properties have proven that the dock is our guests favorite place to hang out although the size of the new pool and deck may compete for attention!!
We have a an onsite husband and wife management team who will be there to help you with your every need. We also have night security so the property is secure 24 hours a day.

    This rental is beautiful, clean and Don the property manager is the best. Don was so friendly, helpful, pleasant and always accommodating to any of our needs. The property has everything you need for a great vacation. The pool is perfect. I can’t say enough nice things about the whole overall experience. We would definitely stay there again.

    Our stay was absolutely perfect! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with the most incredible and friendly staff. They were available throughout the week to answer questions, make reservations and provide a constant smile. The staff goes beyond the call of duty for guests. The grounds were attended to beautifully and everything was kept pristine throughout the day. Bicycles were onsite for our convenience. The small community was easy to ride bikes to and from our destinations. Our teenager daughters and friends felt safe around the island and we had good security on site 24 hours a day. The oceanfront views cant be best, and there is a constant breeze as opposed to the back side of the island (eventhought it provides a breathtaking sunset). Our house/duplex was recently open for business 4 months ago, so naturally everything is new and in nice condition. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. The beds slept well and it was a treat to have a bathroom for every bedroom. Beach towels are provided in addition to a washer and dryer. There is ample seating (8 comfortable chairs) for reading, cocktails, hammock napping, etc. on the porch overlooking the water and large dock with a beautiful thatch roof. Our family would choose to stay here again over anywhere on the island when we return to Caye Caulker. Thank you for a memorable stay.

    This property is absolutely beautiful, and no detail has been overlooked. Inside and out, everything is very clean, and well cared for. Don, the property manager, is one of the best I have ever dealt with. He genuinely cares about the guests, and does everything in his power to make sure the stay is enjoyable. The location is perfect - quiet and relaxing, and not too far from “town”. If I had to pick a negative, it is that there were not complimentary bikes, kayaks and SUPs available for guests. Other properties this distance from “town” at least offer free bikes. Since VeLento is being touted as the best rental on Caye Caulker, offering these additional services to guests would ensure you maintain that description.

    First time to Caye Caulker and after spending 5 days on Ambergris Caye what a gem this place. I would say this is the nicest place on the island and to top that Don and Naz are there to set up anything you could possibly want including a birthday (Happy) Cake. We can not wait to get back. You have your own private dock out front and a pool in the back. The Condo is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. You are in walking distance of everything including the Split. I actually caught bonefish out front of the condo 2 of the 3 days so if you fish bring your rod. If you are considering this place you wont be disappointed. I can't recommend this place more we plan on returning next year we enjoyed it so much.
